UPDATE: The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Black is currently a US-only releasing meaning you'll only be able to grab a pair across the pond. Stay tuned for more updates on a confirmed Europe and UK date. Are you ready for the new era of footwear? The future is finally here as Nike unveil their earth shattering HyperAdapt 1.0 Black. This seriously cool design fulfils a childhood dream to slip into a pair of sneaks and enjoy the convenience of auto-lacing. Just like Marty McFly, you'll soon be able to experience this mind blowing technology. It may sound like an exaggeration but this is a passionate subject amongst many sneakerheads. Only several weeks ago, the community went wild at the prospect of copping the Nike Mag - the very same silhouette from Back to the Future. That raffle release generated millions of pounds towards the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's with 80 lucky individuals winning a pair. Now you'll have another shot to secure this high tech concept. As with the Nike Mag, the HyperAdapt utilises an in-built motor which tightens and loosens with the flick of a switch. It's just as adaptive as it sounds, if not more, thanks to in-built sensors which recognise the unique foot shape of each wearer.Despite this tech, the shoe is surprisingly lightweight. A full mesh upper brings both comfort and that contouring fit with overlays for added protection at the rear. Another cool feature is the light in the midsole which powers up in a shade of blue. Of course, you can always turn this off when you want to keep it stealthy. As mentioned, the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Black is scheduled to release in the US on Monday 28th November at 8am. Little is known as of yet for the UK launch date but we'll be providing more info soon.
