2.2.1 has the following improvements:
- Improved support for .FBX and .Collada file formats. From now on these are the most recommended format for importing 3d objects with complex animations and textures.
- Fixes a bug reported on relative paths to assets, which is needed for running the same session on different computers
- Fixes all issues reported so far with Intel and AMD graphics cards. It might require to update the graphics card driver for some cases.
We have been receiving reports about BuildAR crashing issue especially on Windows 7 Operating system.
We’ve found that placing all AR scene related files in one folder could solve the problem.
We’ve made a web page explaining recommended AR scene folder contents.
BuildAR graphics hardware requirements:
a dedicated graphics card (we recommend NVIDIA or ATI). Integrated Intel graphics card are not supported.
Important : BuildAR Pro customers will need a new registration key to activate BuildAR Pro 2.1.1

2.1.1 version update:
Add automatic AR scene launcher shortcut next to .scn file. Click here to see more details
2.0.1 version update:
The BuildAR 2.0.1 update provides improvements to the image-based tracker. The accuracy and range has been improved when using image-based tracking, but as a result BuildAR Pro 2.0.1 may run more slowly on low end computers than the 2.0 version.
BuildAR Pro 2 will run in demonstration mode until the license key is entered.
Before buying, please download and test the trial version of BuildAR Pro 2 to ensure that the software works properly on your system.
Just follow these steps:
1.Put all of the content files into a new directory (you can choose to create separate sub-directories for the different content types, i.e. models, markers, etc)
2.Load the content files into BuildAR Pro 2 Editor and create the scene
3.Save a new copy of the scn scene file to the new directory
4. Load the scn file from the BuildAR Viewer
Until you purchase and enter a registration key, BuildAR Pro will run in demonstration mode. There is no time limit on the demo, but you will not be able to save scenes you create, and the 3D view is watermarked.
